About Sharon

“You belong among the Wildflowers.”

-Tom Petty

Hey Friends! I’m Sharon, just a southern girl living her best life on our farm in the country. We live on 10 acres of property that has been in my family for generations. Our farm is located in a little town just outside of Huntsville, Alabama.

Our goal with this little farm has been to slow down and learn to enjoy the simple things in life. On our farm we have horses, goats, chicken, dogs, and of course barn cats. While I love our animals, gardening has always been my favorite passion. I can remember helping my grandmother with her flowers on days when I would stay with her during the summers in my younger days. It makes my heart happy to continue to plant and grow flowers in the same places she did many years ago. It is my hope that I can share with all of you my passion for growing beautiful blooms. Gardening is my very best therapy, it takes patience, dedication and care to grow things. The farm is my happy place!

Beyoutiful Designs is a specialty florist specializing in weddings and events. I have been in the floral business over 10 years, but we are have been a home based business for 7 years now. Honestly, it was the best decision we have ever made. Owning a brick and morter store front was confining and it took me away from my family to often. Weddings have always been my passion, and I hope to create designs that are unique to your style while tailoring weddings according to the season with blooms that are American grown.

This past year we decided to branch out and turn a little piece of our property into a cut flower farm. Never in my wildest dreams did I see this hobby of playing in the dirt turning into another avenue for my floral business, but it has! I enjoy sharing our local grown farm to table bouquets with others in our community and when I can …… I LOVE to use them in my wedding designs. What bride doesn’t love homegrown lisanthus, ranachulas, and eucalyptus in their bouquet?

So come join me for a day on the flower farm while we pick a bouquet of blooms and sit down under a shade tree to plan your wedding together!
